The OrgCon program is a strategic management tool. An OrgCon analysis facilitates general understanding of the organization, identifies problem situations and provides a guide for corrective measures.

Recent research indicates that misfits revealed in five companies analyzed using OrgCon were caused primarily by two factors:

1. Lack of unambiguous and dynamic visions for the future due to lack of sharing and clarification of ideas and information within the management groups
2. Lack of a holistic view of the organizational structure and consequently little understanding of how to correct misfits

The OrgCon analysis clarified the views of different members of management on the main goals and missions of the organization and provided an opportunity to discuss important and well-known concepts in a holistic perspective.
