How to interpret the OrgCon report
The output report of an OrgCon analysis is divided into three distinct parts:
- Misfit
Strategic misfits and contingency misfits indicates overall problems of fit. - Current organization
Provides a picture of the present organization. It does not take into account what might be best or preferred - Organizational recommendations
Contains the OrgCon recommendations for organizational change
In general, OrgCon provides several optional results for both the analyses and recommendations parts. This is done to allow comparing conclusions and determination of which alternatives should be considered. The certainty factor should be used as a guideline for determining which option is the most appropriate.
