Symptoms

When trying to run OrgCon, you may experience one or more of the following symptoms:

• You recieve an error dialog when starting OrgCon
  The error dialog may contain the following message:
  • The dynamic link library mscoree.dll could not be found in the specified path.
     
• Neither "OrgCon" nor "Check for OrgCon update" will run.

Cause

This issue can occur due to the following reason:

•  Microsoft .Net framework 1.1 is not installed.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, use the appropriate method:

• Install Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1.
  Get the .NET Framework 1.1
  or goto Microsoft Windows Update, and follow the steps below:
  1. Click the link "Custom Install"
  2. Click the link "Select optional software updates"
  3. Check the update "Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1"
  4. Click the link "Goto install updates"
  5. Click the button "Install"
