Symptoms

When trying to run OrgCon, you may experience one or more of the following symptoms:

• You recieve an error dialog when starting OrgCon
  The error dialog may contain one of the following messages:
  • Missing C++ Runtime Files.
    or:
  • Your OrgCon (tm) has malfunctioned, eventhough it may be possible to continue to work, we recommend you save your work and restart your OrgCon 8 software.
    And when clicking on "Detailed Error Report" you see the following information:
    Message: Unverifiable image 'm4w32dn' can not be run.
• You are unable to run the analysis

Cause

This issue can occur due to the following reason:

• Most likely: The C++ runtime files did not install correctly.
• The M4 system files are missing.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, use the appropriate method:

• Install the Microsoft C++ Runtime files.
  These are included in the MDAC 2.8 package which is also required by OrgCon.
  Microsoft MDAC Download page.
• Reinstall the OrgCon software.
  Either by uninstalling and reinstalling or repairing from the "Add or Remove Programs" in "Control Panel".
